This class is also available in kit form, with supporting videos! When you register, 780-414-1540, indicate if you are taking a kit only or participating in the class. There are 10 spots for participants in the Crop Room. Kits will be available after the class, (Oct. 03rd, 4:00pm).

Please note: Every precaution is being taken to give everyone a safe personal space to work, you must wear a mask at all times.  Bring your own lunch and snacks.

 

Join me for a new class, where you will make a junk journal (Midori style), using a brown paper lunch bag as a substrate, and a variety of ephemera and papers – all gelli printed, of course! I will provide papers, ephemera, tags & bags, journal cards, die cuts/masks, envelopes, needle & thread, etc.

If you are participating in the class please bring with you basic monoprinting supplies, including: Gel plate(s), brayer(s), Apron, table cover, Acrylic paints, distress inks, paint markers, Paper towels, wet wipes, Mark making and/or texture tools, Stencils & masks, Paint brushes, Art foamies (optional), Texture stamping plates (optional), Paper trimmer or straight edge ruler, Scissors, paper piercer and glue stick.

This month’s page features a neutral background with two collage clusters, an original digital print and a beautiful water coloured Sunflower.  And a bee.  And a dried stem. A TM exclusive stencil is included in this kit, along with all the collage elements,  embossed stamped images, water colour palette and a fabulous quote.  I even included a small container of the wonderful turquoise color providing the hit of color behind the collage clusters. Full instructions and photos are included, and a video is available to show you the process.

You will need: Art journal of your choice, White glue, fussy cut scissors, Foam tape or pop ups, Distress ink pad (Tea dye) and foam applicator, Decou Page or fluid Fluid Medium, Wet wipes, paper towels, Brush/waterbrush and water cup, Cling film (saran wrap), Acrylic paints – med grey, dark brown, tan, med green, white and titan buff/ivory.
