In this journal page you’ll explore a layered spray technique. Adding additional layers of stenciling and doodling will bring out the hidden layers. It’s unique and every page is an original! If pink and yellow are not your colors, try it with blues and greens, greens and yellow, or blues and purples. Stick with colors next to each other on the color wheel. I used a lotus bloom stencil, that would afford me room to doodle on later. See if you have something similar. I encourage you to gather your favorite supplies and see how you can incorporate them into the project. An open design that can be doodled on would be nice. I also used a ‘blotchy’ stencil, something with random definition that can be doodled. Make this page your own!
Please bring with you some basic supplies – you will use them all! Apron, non-stick mat, art journal of your choice, heat gun, paper towels, wet wipes, white paint marker or white gel pen, black paint pen or permanent marker, brushes and water basin, gesso, molding paste, stencils (open design and ‘blotchy’ design or other texture stencil), sprays in 2 or 3 colors (eg. Dylusions in yellow, pink and fuchsia).
