This journal page is a mini-paint session! It only uses three colors – black, white, and turquoise. Stamping, splatters, mark making and a word stencil create visual texture for the background, with a lovely hand painted feather as the focal image. The feather is painted with a comb, or rake brush. Pebeo Vittrail paint is added at the end, which goes through a "sticky stage" as it dries. While sticky, Minc silver foil is pressed on in places to catch amazing celestial shine and shimmer. A comb brush, paints, foil, and instruction are included in the cost of the class.

Please remember to bring with you the basic supplies: apron, non-stick mat, art Journal of your choice, gesso, heat gun, Scraper or old card, Archival black ink with finger dauber, spray mister, paper towels, wet wipes, background script stamp, if you have one, white paint marker or white gel pen, black paint marker or permanent pen, 1” or 1.5” flat brush, and water basin, word stencil, if you have one to use.

I can’t attend Doreen’s class today. I have the flu. However I will pay whatever I owe her for the kit she has assembled. I realize it’s a lot of work for for her. Please send my apologies
