This workshop is the third in the Mixed Media Series. It’s a comprehensive, in-depth look at how stamps and stencils are commonly used in mixed media projects. A variety of techniques will be demonstrated and many helpful tips shared.
Acrylics, inks, sprays, distress ink/oxide pads, stamps, papers, washi tapes and stencils were used in making the tags. If you have these supplies and want to use them, please bring them. See the tags for visual information on products used.
Various mediums, tags, papers, washi tape, and other supplies used in the workshop will be provided. Please bring with you: apron, non-stick craft mat, paper trimmer, heat gun, scissors, brush basin, paper towels, baby wipes, a few stencils – circles, letters, words, etc., stamps – background, texture and script stamps, acrylic paints in bright colors, plus black & white, black archival ink pad & foam applicator, assorted round and flat brushes (for moving paint and mediums around), sketching pencil & eraser, palette knife, adhesives (scor-tape, Scotch glue, UHU glue stick).
