Fall will soon be in the air with all the beautiful reds, oranges and browns. Pinecones, leaves, pumpkins and the most adorable cute little foxes make this layout, using the new Bo Bunny “Dreams of Autumn” line, perfect for the season. Included in this class is a special technique utilizing deco foil transfer gel, Minc Machine and a stencil.
I always love to show you what to do with your scraps as there are a few from this project, so I've also included a Fall Thank you card in this class! Kits are available if you are not able to attend the class. This project has a bit of fussy cutting homework that will be available for pick up one week before class.
Please bring to the class: scissors, paper trimmer, bone folder, tape adhesive, foam dots/squares and brown ink (I use Tim Holtz Vintage Photo).
Layout Detail.
The pictures never do Katie's layouts justice, the depth, detail and creativity is awesome, please stop by the store to see the layouts and Thank you card on display.

Thursday, September 07th
6:30 - 9:30
$27.00
This next class you’ll explore layering with acrylics and stencils to create this vibrant journal page. The page is basecoated with acrylics and then artfully enhanced with a variety of stencils, using contrasting colors. It’s a good lesson on using the color wheel! A total of 16 stencils were used to make this page. I will have many stencils available to share, as well as acrylic paint and foam wedgies to apply the paint.
Please bring with you some basic supplies: apron, non-stick mat, art journal of your choice, paper towels, wet wipes, white paint marker or white gel pen, paint brushes and water basin, stencils, acrylic paint in vibrant colors plus black and white.

Have you ever seen a project you loved but maybe not the papers that were used? Here is your opportunity to learn to create a wonderful hardcover folio that is extremely well constructed. You will also learn how to create all the pull out pockets, flaps and folds and best of all an instructor to help you along the way. After you have completed one folio you will be able to make more for other creative projects. Cutting instructions and measurements are included. This technique class has two options for participants:
Option 1. Learn to simply make the folio and then, on you own, complete with the decorative papers of your choice. 10:00 to 12:30 for the folio portion only (maximum 16). $45.00
Option 2. Learn to make the folio and complete the project as shown using the Graphic 45 Ladies Diary paper line with its style & elegance that harkens back to the classic past. 1:00 to 5:00 to complete the folio using the Ladies Diary papers. PLEASE NOTE only 10 spots are available for option 2. $85.00
Supplies included for the folio: Black card stock, chipboard and magnets. If you're doing option 2 then the Graphic 45 papers & tags will also be included.
Supplies to bring: paper trimmer, bone folder, scissors, adhesive ( I use 1/4" score tape), and corner rounder. If you will be doing the Ladies Diary portion then please also bring vintage photo distress ink and black foam dots.
Like all of Katie's creations it's best to see the actual project. This one is no exception and it is beautiful!
