June 14th Class: Prima Build-a-Book Class

"Celebrate You!" Album

Join Trisha Ladouceur for a fun filled afternoon as you create a fabulous mini album celebrating YOU as we create a CLEAR album bursting with yummy product from Prima, Luxe, Stix2 and Hambly Screen Prints.

You will learn various tips and tricks for working with the new Build-A-Books by Prima Marketing, Inc. (co-designed by Trisha herself!). These kits have a retail value of approximately $70.00 so this is definitely one class you do NOT want to miss!

photographs can be added later to the Album.

Tool Supplies required:
Basic tool Kit (ie Trimmer, Adhesive, Scissors etc)
Corner Rounder,
Exacto knife & cutting mat,
Black Ink,
Mini glue dots,
Rub-on transfer tool

When: Saturday, June 14th

June 14th Class - Delite Designs Father's Day Album

Father's Day "I thought you should know..." Album

Come join Nadine from Delite Designs and make this fabulous 6"x6" Acrylic Album designed to celebrate 'Dad'.

We'll use Heidi Swapp's new World Traveller papers, some great Hambly transparencies, chipboard shapes by Riff Raff and get messy with Glimmer Mist. Bring your photos to class and leave with a finished project ready to wrap up and give as a wonderful gift. Whether this album is for your children's father or your own you will not be disappointed.

 

Photographs:
Please bring between 14 and 18 photographs at 3"x4" or 3.5"x5" sizes - preferably in Black & White. (note from Nadine - Superstore prints 2 @ 3x4 on a 4x6 for the same price as a 4x6.)

sanding block / file / paper
crop-a-dile (if available)

We have just had in a delivery of American Craft Thickers - the newest thickers: "shoe box","sprinkles", and "lax" all in glitter!! they are awesome - that brings our thickers range to fantastic numbers!

"Far & Away" TM June Kit

we know several of you have reserved your kits, and so we just wanted to let you know that part of the kit has been held up in Canadian Customs - we are hoping to have it in the store on Wednesday so the KITs should be available on Thursday - our apologies for the delay but unfortunately its out of our hands currently... as soon as we have them all ready, we will release all the details on the blog.

Father’s Day Class - Matching Layout & Desk Display

This class is about making a matching gift and layout celebrating Dad. The Desk Display is perfect as a gift and the matching layout will fit perfectly into your album.


















Tool Requirements for the Class:
Basic Tool Kit (ie trimmer, adhesive etc)
Black Ink Pad
Small Sharp Scissors
Heat Gun (only you have one already)

Photo Requirements:
Please provide Black and White Photographs in the following sizes
Three 3"x3" photographs (you can cut a 6x4 photo down if the focus of the photo is within a 3x3" size)
One 7x5 Photograph (for layout)

In this class you will be creating 3 single page layouts that demonstrate different techniques incorporating the ever popular glimmer mist. It’s a definite must for those of you who have the glimmer mist sitting at home and are now wondering what to do next!

Riff Raff Class $35
In this class you will be creating 3 single page layouts that showcase the local Riff Raff chipboard! Be sure to check into this class as it is sure to impress.

Home Canvas Class $40
Be sure to check this out, because this canvas is a beautiful piece of art that you will be proud to display anywhere in your home or crafting room. On top of creating this fabulous project, you will be learning many new techniques that are sure to enhance many pages in the future.

Father’s Day Brag Book $25
In this class you will be making an accordion style album for your father or husband to proudly display photos. It is designed in beautiful blues or adorable pinks to showcase pictures of any child.

Lost & Found Studio - Alpha Beta Canvas $30
Decorate a small 4” x 4” stretched canvas using a variety of materials and techniques. Embellish and add your distressed, embellished monogram. The end result is a fun and funky new addition to your letter collection.

Lost & Found Studio - Canvas Identity $30
Working on a large 12”x12” gallery canvas, this is a creative look into your personal style, artists’ statement or goals. Through layers of words, images and symbols, the participants design a one of a kind piece of art. Participants will gain a foundation in use of acrylic mediums, collage, journaling and free hand doodling or mark making. Rubber stamps, Paint, pens and paper are among the tools used. Techniques learnt are easily transferable to card making, ATC, collage, scrapbooking or book binding. This is a suitable class for all levels whether you are a seasoned stamper or have never held a paint brush before.
