You’ll be printing on fabrics in this class, using a variety of techniques for this unique process. Make your own ‘fabric line’ with multiple prints. Fabrics can be used for making art quilts, art dolls, stitched projects, journal covers, ‘stuffies’, décor items such as pillows and decorative panels, and so much more. Papers and a variety of fabrics for printing will be supplied, including the use of stencils and art foamies.
Bring with you basic monoprinting supplies, including…….Gel plate & brayer, Apron, table cover, Stencils, Acrylic paints, Paper towels, wet wipes, Palette knife/card scraper, Sharp scissors, or fabric scissors, Mark making and/or texture tools, Stencils & masks, Art foamies (optional), Texture stamping plates (optional).
Note: each month we gather on the first Thursday of the month, to create prints on a gel plate. Different styles, tools, techniques and processes are shown each month. The only pre-requisite is to have some printing experience – it is not a beginner class. It’s a great way to expand your knowledge and have some fun. Won’t you join us?
