"Young Artists" Classes . . . now for ADULTS too!

Due to many Mom's requests . . . we will be running an ADULT "Young Artists" class right after the children's class (you will be taught the same pages).

"Young Artists in Training" - Children (5+)  1-3 p.m.

"Young Artists @ Heart" - Adults/Moms  3-5 p.m.  

(Children from the 1-3 p.m. class can stay at a separate table & continue working in their journal while Mom takes the same class from 3-5 p.m.)

Class Description:

Children & Adults will learn how to use  Precision Pens & Pitt Artist Pens along with background stamps, washi tape, & die cut pieces to create several pages in their Art Journal.  This will be the start of their/your own Art portfolio.

 

Please Bring:  Coil Bound Art Journal (Fine Black & coloured markers so you don't have to share).

 Everything except the journal will be provided.

Join Nadine for this card class on Saturday, March 29 and create these 6 cards using the Pincushion collection from Bo Bunny. These cards are beautiful with their corals, greens and pops of black. Nadine has also created gift tags as a bonus to the 6 cards. If you are unable to attend class we will have class kits available for purchase that include the supplies, detailed instructions and photos. Class Description:

We will be creating this stunning FABRIC ART JOURNAL from SCRATCH in this 3 Day Weekend Event.  We will be combining canvas, fabric, paper & lots of embellishments with paint, stamps, ink & thread to make this beautiful Fabric Art Journal from SCRATCH.

This is definitely a head turning piece!

This is a Weekend Event full of Back to Back Classes to create the Covers & 12 pages of a Fabric Art Journal from SCRATCH.  (*Sewing is NOT a pre-requisite.*)

 

The pages you will create are as follows:

1.  Ice Resin Dress Form vellum page;

2.  Ice Resin Dictionary vellum page;

3.  "Her Duties" Paper/Lace Trim collage page;

4.  "Back then" Schoolhouse Paper/Lace Trim collage page;

5.  Catalogue Lace Pocket page with Tags;

6.  Lace Dress Gel Transfer with Lace Trim page;

7.  Inchie with embellishments page;

8.  Tripple Tag page;

9.  Birdie Sewing page;

10.  Fairy page;

11.  Patchwork page; &

12.  an OMG Dress Form page. 

In the past, we have had ladies from around the province as well as the surrounding area who all come together like a happy swarm of buzzing bees to share in the weekend of fun, creativity, & excitement  in being with like-minded artistic souls!  We share our extra supplies, our knowledge, our creations, our stories, & our food.  There are many many give-aways.  This is truly a great enthusiastic event that you do not want to miss.

*We will be planning a pot-luck supper & snacks.*

Please Bring:  scissors, matt gel medium, 1" paint brush for gel medium, 1/2" paint brush for paint, gesso, Precision Marker, brayer, craft mat, paper piercer/awl, Sepia Ink (or Vintage Photo), dauber, crop-0-dile, heat gun, baby wipes

Optional Supplies:  pinking sheers, hand sewing needle, thread (black/grey/white), scraps of lace, tulle, crocheted trim, embroidery floss, sewing machine, extra bobbins
