Melissa Vestby has done a great job creating this fox image using papers she made with a gelli plate, one of the main ingredients in the August/September Mixed Media Kits. She cut the gelli plate image into several pieces and glued them over a silhouette of the fox head cut from black card stock. A paper template of the fox head pieces is available in the store if you’d like to replicate this look. The one of a kind paper lifted from a gelli plate adds richness and dimension to the overall image. The fox was then adhered to a wooden panel (available in-store) and embellished with Prima florals, TM ephemera and die cuts.
If you'd like to learn more about Gelli Plates or just have fun with Dooreen Rousseau she has a Gelli Plate class at Treasured Memories, Wednesday, September 21st, 6:30 - 9:30 $22.00
