The next Mixed Media Kit - August/September - is due to release August 1st. We are excited to announce that a 5” x 5” gelli plate and a brayer will be included in the Kit. Classes have been scheduled to assist you in learning all about mono-printing using the fabulous gelli plate.

The Basic Mono-printing skills workshop will be a lot of fun, and very creative! Using a gelli plate to pull art prints is very addictive, and it’s so versatile! You’ll learn the basics and see how easy it is to create wonderful one-of-a-kind prints to enhance any project you have on the go, or simply bind the prints into an album or book to use in journaling.
Learn how to:
* use and care for the gelli plate
*use stencils and basic layering
*add visual texture and interest
*create intentional layers
*build compositions
What to bring:
Gelli Plate (5” x 5” or larger)
4” rubber brayer
Acrylic paint – various colors you like to use
(Choose vibrant colors – eg. yellow, pink, orange, red, green, blue, purple)
(Brands - Liquitex, Golden, Dylusions, Dina Wakely, craft paint, etc.)
Black and white acrylic paint
Background stamps (to add texture)
5 empty cardboard toilet tissue tubes
Stencils – bring what you have!
Apron
Paint brushes
Old towel for cleaning stencils
Plenty of paper towels and a pack of baby wipes
Paper trimmer, scissors
Everything else is supplied!
For those of you with experience and want to go a little further
and build on your skills, we have an advanced class for you.

This workshop continues to build on basic mono-printing skills. You will use the prints you pull to complete a small project.
