inspiration: Staff Feature Friday

Beautiful Bella Blvd.

Here are some of the layouts I made with the newest Bella Blvd. paper and embellishments.

The cute chipboard stickers are great for layering with the labels and banner stickers! And I really like all of the different font and size options of the letter stickers. They will suit any taste and style, and the quantity will last through many a layout.

I really love the single-colour, simple pattern paper. The colours are basic enough to coordinate with pretty much any other paper line out there! You can even grunge them up a little bit with some ink, and they keep on looking great!

Friday Featuring KC

Here are some fun and bright layouts from KC using some of the new Cosmo Cricket. I give her a baby-themed line and she scrapbooks her road trip photos! Just goes to show how versatile this line truly is!

We Miss You Victoria!

Our good friend and co-worker Victoria moved to Australia back in January! She and her husband are planning on working and living there for about a year...experiencing all that Australia has to offer and having the adventure of a lifetime!

We still love to hear from her, and we all follow her on her blog (you should too!) We sent her some of the *NEW Pnk Paislee to play with and she sent back these gorgeous layouts! Doesn't life look fine in Surfer's Paradise!?

The detail on the Pink Paislee paper and chipboard is so beautiful! You barely need any embellishment! A little well-placed bling goes a long way.

Hi Chantel & Scarlett!

Chantel got to play with the new Jenni Bowlin paper and embellishments this month. She made this sweet spread featuring the ever-fabulous Scarlett!

I love the grid pattern in the top layout! Chantel had lots of photos of Scarlett she wanted to include, and separating the layout into a grid with those strips of pattern paper helps her add those photos and leave a clear space for her title and sub-title.

There is a lot of great layering going on here. That ribbon border is actually three separate ribbons that Chantel layered together...it looks like she bought it that way!

I also love how she mounted the two pieces of pattern paper on the Jenni Bowlin pockets. This makes two sweet pockets for further journaling and makes the pattern paper look much more substantial.

Lisa's Layouts...Featuring *NEW Clever Handmade

This new company featuring a tried-and-true Heidi Grace is crazy and cute!! Lots of vibrant colours and fun patterns...Chantel, Jill & I each got to play with one of their lines this month. And I guess mine are up first. So without further adieu, here is "Out of This World"...

I like how each crazy pattern has a subtle one on the back. You really get the best of both worlds. Some quirky, fun patterns and images (ray guns, UFOs, aliens, for example) and some basic patterns in coordinating colours (stripes, polka dots, ledger).

Her letter stickers are GREAT! They come in classic colours, a super font, and you get loads of letters. There were also label stickers to accompany each line, and if you know me, you know I can't get enough of a good label sticker!

I'll try to get some photos of Jill's and Chantel's layouts soon so I can post them here as well. I think these lines work really wonderfully for any style and level of scrapbooker...those who aren't afraid of a little quirky colour, that is!

"This & That" with Nadine

I absolutely love what Nadine did with the new Echo Park "This & That Charming" line! She always brings her A-Game with these "challenge kits".

I stole Nadine's blurb about this layout from her blog...

This is the layout I made using my staff page kit from Treasured Memories. I got Echo Park's line-This & That. These papers are great, I always luck out with my kit... or maybe it's because they know what I don't like and don't want me pouting. ha!

I love the relationship Anna has with my dad, with Papa. She just loves her Gramma & Papa so much and it makes me so happy. She is always saying Papa, Papa and pointing to their photos on the fridge.

Nadine always pays such great attention to detail on her layouts, without letting those details overwhelm the layout. The photo below shows what I have come to think of as Nadine's "Signature Move". I have used this lots on my layouts recently! Thanks girl!!
